THE GUYANA CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF NY, INC, IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE DETAILS OF THE EVENTS OF THE ANNUAL GUYANA FOLK FESTIVAL. THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD IN NEW YORK AS WELL AS IN GUYANA, AS PART OF THE PRE-CARIFESTA-X CELEBRATIONS.

OUR THEME IS "CARIBBEAN PEOPLE IN HARMONY THROUGH CULTURE" FEATURING THE AWARDS CEREMONY, DRAMA FESTIVAL, SYMPOSIUM (in Guyana), FESTIVAL OF FOLK GAMES (in Guyana), COME TO MY KWE-KWE and the FAMILY FUN DAY (in New York).

Directions to Meyer Levin School

The school is located On Ralph Avenue between Tilden and Beverly.

BUS ROUTES:

Coming from the Bronx, New York City -
Take the #4 train to Utica Avenue Stop.. and then B46 Bus to Beverly Road.

There is also the B-47 and B-17 that goes to that area.

From Long Island and Queens -
Take the Belt Parkway to Linden Blvd. At Rockaway Parkway, Make a left and then the first right onto Ditmus. Drive to Ralph and make a right. The School is at the first corner (Beverly)
