The theme for Guyana Folk Festival 2008 is "Caribbean
People in Harmony Through Culture" - another testimony of our
pride in our Caribbean heritage and recognition of the power to
build bridges and strengthen community In 2008, Carifesta
returns to Guyana after 36 years.
This is a reaffirmation of Guyana's pride of its
membership in the wider Caribbean community.
