THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS ANOTHER WONDERFUL FOLK FESTIVAL SEASON

The team at Guyana Cultural Association expresses our collective thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the 2009 Guyana Folk Festival.

We are particularly grateful to our caring, compassionate contributors and sponsors who had to look beyond this economic climate to support the festival this year. Without you, we would have certainly failed. We also want to acknowledge the inexhaustible generosity of the Artistes, some traveled far to get to the festival but they came and the festival was judged by the audience to be one of our best festivals. To our vendors we ask you to share in this outstanding achievement. Â For those who attend the festival annually we are grateful for your unwavering support and for those attending for the first time, it was our good fortune to have had you there.

To the team at GCA who continually opened their hearts, hands and checkbooks to make the festival work and, continues to dare to dream of bold initiatives to preserve, promote and propagate the rich heritage of Guyana to all the Diaspora, I am very proud to acknowledge this year's accomplishment. Thank you, Thank you, and thank you.
